Accidental abuse ??

Posted on Updated on

This also applies to men! I have seen both sides. I believe that some don’t realize they do it but others do and it is really sad. I cringe every time I am around a couple that consistently belittle their partner and treat them like they are an idiot. For that matter I can’t stand for ANYONE  to be belittled. Been there, had that happened! It does nothing for ones self esteem.
FYI!! If you are with someone that does this on purpose then get out! If they think you are that ignorant then why are they with you?? and why are you with them???
This is a serious form of abuse!
That is why as a couple you need to talk about things not talk at each other. Discuss if something is bothering you and the way you feel you are being treated. Some don’t realize they are evening committing a form of abuse. If they listen to you and try to change then they truly love you and if they don’t listen and scoff at you for even mentioning it – then get out!
A relationship should be built on trust, respect, and honesty.

Let it Go!

Posted on

If you have a little girl like I do then you have more than likely seen Frozen a million times and have those songs from the movie stuck in your head. One song in particular comes to mind “Let it Go”!!.
Every time I hear the song I can’t help but think of all the things that I need to let go. Why do we always worry and stress? It never does any good and never gets us anywhere. We grow older and cause more problems when we stress. Like the picture above says Worrying is like sitting in a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.
I have found from experience that it does not do any good to stress and in the end God is always there to take care of us. He always provides exactly what we need exactly when we need it. So the next time you start to stress remember“LET IT GO”!

God will sustain us, He will never let us fall, and He cares for us. Taken one at a time, we see first that God declares both His ability and His willingness to be our strength and support—mentally, emotionally and spiritually. He is able (and best of all, willing!) to take everything that threatens to overwhelm us and use it for our benefit. He has promised to “work all things together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Even at times when we doubt Him, He is still working for our good and His glory. And He has also promised that He will allow no trial to be so great we cannot bear it and that He will provide a means of escape 1 Corinthians 10:13. By this, He means that He will not let us fall, as He promised in Psalm 55:22
So the next time you hear that famous song from Frozen – just like it says – LET IT GO!!
