Accidental abuse ??

Posted on Updated on

This also applies to men! I have seen both sides. I believe that some don’t realize they do it but others do and it is really sad. I cringe every time I am around a couple that consistently belittle their partner and treat them like they are an idiot. For that matter I can’t stand for ANYONE¬† to be belittled. Been there, had that happened! It does nothing for ones self esteem.
FYI!! If you are with someone that does this on purpose then get out! If they think you are that ignorant then why are they with you?? and why are you with them???
This is a serious form of abuse!
That is why as a couple you need to talk about things not talk at each other. Discuss if something is bothering you and the way you feel you are being treated. Some don’t realize they are evening committing a form of abuse. If they listen to you and try to change then they truly love you and if they don’t listen and scoff at you for even mentioning it – then get out!
A relationship should be built on trust, respect, and honesty.
